Parallel events, tributes and support motions

The Exhibition Ecogênese, Interdisciplinarity and Sustainable Development - Fernando Magalhães Chacel and multidisciplinary partners – was presented at the Space Tom Jobim, in the Botanical Garden. The landscape architect has given great emphasis to the importance of working together with professionals from various specialties.

Chacel shows projects that are examples of what he says such as  Peninsula Park. In these projects there was a progress in design and build new landscapes over sensitive environments. The entire "supply chain" grew up together, from the plant nurseries to the final customers. And Chacel puts the environmental legislation as a major ally in this process.
Abap paid him homage in EXPO ABAP. We also honored Rosa Kliass for her exemplary projects and the years of hard work in defense of the profession.

On the last day of the 46th IFLA World Congress, the motions to reject the reforms of the Parque del Este (Caracas, Venezuela) and of Parque do Flamengo (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and to support the creation of the Council of Brazilian Architecs were sign. They are available on www.abap.org.br).
